I don't get women... I don't get my self... what do women want?, what are they drawn to?, how do they decided that some guy is cute?... how do they decide that it's time to ditch him?... really, I am plain confused at the moment.
Anyway... weekend was good, friday at work was actually exhausting (for a change), and I had to stay late making a few things happen, it worked by the end and that is always great. I had to go aaaaall the way to the basics and stop trying to be fancy, but I got it done which is all that matters. That friday night I got a call from Karina, (yes the karina from that party), and it was a fun conversation actually, eventually she asked me to call her later so that we could do something together, that something included going to an antro, but I was willing/able, still... I fell asleep and didn't call... go me!... he he he.
Saturday was goooood, games and reading, a couple of tv programs... relaxing times. Eventually Erik called and reminded me that we had agreed on going to watch "the terminal", so we went. Going out of the house I felt like shit for about 30 minutes, the worst allergic-nose-stuffing ever... We picked up Mariel, went to the mall, and all those things. On the way to the mall I got this confusing ego-booster, finding out that two of Maiel's friends digged me... it's always nice to know that, specially since I am feeling a bit fat and haven't been trying at all to be attractive in any sort... yet, for the very same reason, it confuses me. Still, there is a smile on me face.
The movie was great, I shan't comment a lot about it, just that you should see it. The script is terribly well written, all the acting rocks, and Spielberg managed to put together, again, a great ensemble. It's a nice story about a guy living in an airport, and how he being there chages things around. This movie has the hability to make you anxious, then laugh like crazy, then cry a bit, and then laugh again... just like that from scene to scene.
After the movie we just walked around for a good while, and eventually got to McDonalds. I had forgotten how it feels to be walking around two couples... hmmm... maybe just for those ocassions I should get a girlfriend, even though Hector was there (and that released some of the tension), it felt a bit odd. That, or inviting more single friends, so that it's all good. He he he.
Sunday, the usual KoK meeting happened, this one took a while longer because we invited two new artists to join our crew. They both are great, one of them has a cool toony look, and the other is a great (great) manga artist, let's hope they decide to stick around. And for us, let's hope we can get them projects soon, and give them good motivation and challenges as a studio, so that they see it's good to stick around.
After the meeting I went to Eve's, where we played some guys, talked a lot, and then played Vampire. It was the 1st time this guys ever played a paper RPG, and they actually hate RPG's (at least in the computer), but they were amused though, and I think it was a good game. At least they want to keep playing to at least finish this story arc. Yay!.
So... cheers!.
ps. I was planning on making a big fus out of my 300th post in this thing... yet at some point the counter got stuck in 288 for a while, now, all of a sudden, it's stuck on 305... so, at some point in the middle there was a 300th, and by now I am not that shure which one is this one... who cares to be honest?
