Funny like that

The internet is a funny place indeed. This blog started up as a therapy to deal with a breakup, became a good idea holder of mine, and now I see it's being read by far more people than I thought. Actually I am listed in a site ran by Alex Maulding on his international links, and I didn't know!. That is indeed an honor and I thank you Alex, in case you are reading this (actually I will write you and email, he he he).

Answering those questions... hmmm... Arts and me?. That is a tricky one, I am a Computer Engineering major. Huh?!?... Yes, I know. What saves me though is that all through my university I [probably] spent more time doing art related stuff than homework, from drawing courses to music and singing. So I came out balanced out of college... And confused [mostly confused].

I co-founded a software development firm called innox, but after a few months I just knew that wasn't my thing. I loved the team, but I was bored doing the stuff, so I decided to leave in good terms (the web design they have as for now was done by me, I like the way the header turned out). One of the motivations to leave was that I was asked to color a comic, and although it was a lot of hard work and non-sleep, I just loved it. So I, with another 3 guys, founded KaraoKulta, a company devoted to sequential arts (fancy way of not saying comics), and illustration. There I am involved in the creative process, for now I ink and write, and we are doing commissions for some US companies. As well I do web design, multimedia, and stuff here and there... As I said, I am a Jack of all Trades... I hate the master of none part, since I end up becoming quite able in the things I set my heart on, so I don't agree.

Why English?... Well, so that some of my overseas friends could read about my life. When I decided that this was going to be the official language was when I realized that I wanted guys like Lennon, Martin and Stuart to be able to read about my life. I seem to have a decent English, and the amount of errors I write on this thing should equal the errors in Spanish, I just don't care/edit, and write as my thoughts appear. I read a lot in English, and lived in the US one year as an exchange student, so that sure did help. I don't like spanish speakers to think that I am fresa, or maidinchista, it was just a practical decission. And when I feel like it, I still post in spanish.

And Blanco... I am sorry... I indeed was the ST of that one game... I am not getting killed right?, I mean... It was just a little game... riiiight?. :-P

** Cheers!!... Sorry for the long boring post, yet the people who commented deserved it!. :-)
